CBD (or Cannabidiol) is one of more than 100 cannabinoids found in Cannabis plants. It interacts with your body's natural endocannabinoid system by helping it to achieve the desirable physical, mental, and spiritual levels in humans and animals.

All products offered by The Ghetto Apothecary are derived from Industrial Hemp. By law, our products have .3% or less THC- trace amounts that do not produce the “high” feeling often associated with Cannabis. Our CBD is isolated from Hemp and is non-psychoactive. Your new favorite feel- good green!

Your body naturally produces CBD. When you take CBD, you are supplementing the deficiency of naturally occurring Cannabinoids in your endocannabinoid system (ECS), therefore bringing the body back to homeostasis or stable equilibrium. Many have reported feeling relief when taking CBD to support:

We have both Full Spectrum CBD products and CBD isolate products. Full Spectrum products are packaged with black labels and Isolate products are with white labels.

Our CBD products, in fact, are fully legal to purchase in most states. The rules differ from state to state, as each one writes its own legislation regarding the substance. For example, while CBD is legal in North Carolina, CBD products are unavailable in Alabama unless the person suffers from debilitating seizures. In reality, very few states disallow CBD altogether.

This patchwork of regulations occurred because the federal government contradicts itself in its laws. The federal Controlled Substances Act (CSA) classifies all “marijuana extract” as a Schedule I, highly-addictive substance with no known medical value. However, the Farm Bill greenlights extracts that come from what’s called “industrial hemp,” which is cannabis sativa bred to have .3% or less THC (what gets you high). The Ghetto Apothecary CBD is derived from industrial hemp.

Most drug tests are geared toward identifying THC, not CBD. Our CBD is isolated which contains zero THC, and therefore will not result in a failed drug test that tests for THC.

No, unfortunately at this time we only ship within the USA, with the exception of Washington State.

Details on how to track your online order will be included in your order status email. This is sent when your package has shipped, typically within 3 business days after you place your order. We can’t guarantee that your shipping information will be updated before your package has shipped, but we’ll do our best to catch it in time. Support calls are not always answered on weekends. We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your request for support.

If your package gets shipped with an incorrect address and gets lost in transit, we are not responsible for shipping a replacement package to you. If your package gets shipped with an incorrect address and is returned to our warehouse by the carrier, it is your responsibility to pay for shipping costs if you would like the package to be resent. Alternatively, we are happy to refund the order, minus a 5% restocking fee. Please ensure to enter the complete and accurate shipping address. For example, include a unit number if applicable, and include either a street address OR a P.O. box number. The Ghetto Apothecary is not responsible for shipments that are lost, delayed, or returned to us as a result of incorrect or incomplete shipping information, failed delivery attempts, or being unclaimed from a postal office or other mail holding center.
